Sell It Like You Own ItVideoDear 80’s: Why all the angles?

December 14, 20190

I’ll admit that this video is a little embarrassing. We bought our house with all intentions of updating the master bathroom, then life happened. Now, it’s time to sell (Have you heard that we’re moving to New Orleans?) and leaving it as-is would kill us when buyers walk through, unless they want to reminisce about that one awesome episode of Magnum P.I.

I don’t normally recommend that sellers do big projects before they hit the market. It can be really tough to get a return on the investment. However, in this instance, our target market places a high priority on kitchens and master baths, and in my opinion, they’ll pay a premium for fresh and new. These decisions come down to knowing who your buyer will be and researching the comps.

I’ll post the “after” when it’s all done, popcorn removed and painted. We’ll see if it pays off.
